Let a New Day of Healing Begin!

Mary's testimony

I don't know where to start as it would take some time to write about the troubles in my district. It is very hard to have love in your heart for people who hate and despise you. But we have to forgive and forget and with love and God in our hearts we have to keep praying for peace and happiness in our country and in the world.

Mary

Dolores' testimony

Let a new day of healing begin. Let the Spirit of God release us from the chains which have held us for too long. We do deserve to live our lives in peace and harmony with those we meet. Love is the answer and I pray that we in this beautiful island will find reconciliation with each other.

By doing 'nothing', we change 'nothing'. By changing 'nothing' We impose a sentence on ourselves. It could be a life sentence! It is necessary to remove the past resentments in order to secure a peaceful future. It is time to move forward. With God's help we truly can.

Dolores

Betty's testimony

The meetings were very difficult as we shared experiences of sectarianism. It has been a very humbling experience for those of us whose lives had not been touched by intimidation, killing and injury. We all came through these difficult discussions more determined to do what we could to improve relationships in the area. A trust was built between the members and many friendships were formed and remain intact today, three years later.
